I want to share a card I created with you that looks like I have drawn the flower image. But in actual fact I stamped it.
The stamp set is by Stampin'Up! and is called "Rose Wonder".
The background stamps are from the "Lovely Wishes" stamp set.
The ink colours I used are Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.
I have used copier paper mounted onto a piece of A4 Whisper White card folded in half.
I stamped the rose image with our clear VersaMark stamp pad and dried it with a heat tool. This gave me a clear but visible outline to water colour my flower.
After I coloured my rose and dried it and used our Watercolour Pencils to add depth and shading.
I used some ink to create a water colour background and muted the colour down with some Gesso. Once dried I added some background stamping.
I love this Bible verse that is included in the "Rose Wonder" stamp set.
This clear stamping technique can be used with any outline stamp you wish to colour and produce an arty feel to your card.
