Soft Sponged Ink Card

I created a card for my daughter today using a new beautiful stamp from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue called "Heartfelt Blooms".

The Stampin'Up! ink colours I have used are Old Olive, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Basic Black Archival.
The paper is ordinary copier paper.
I sponged ink over the stamped image and background. I used an Aqua Painter to colour the image.
After flicking some water and drying I stamped the background with a stamp from the "Beautiful Peacock" stamp set also from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.

The detail in this stamp is amazing. All of the shading is taken care of!

I flicked some Melon Mambo ink over the background.
I made some tears and backed them with dyed cotton gauze.
The sentiment is also from the "Heartfelt Blooms" stamp set.

This is such a pretty stamp, it just reminded me of my daughter.
